DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a fun-filled event\, the whole family will love! 
 The Family Color Dash is a vibrant experience where you can run\, walk\, or
  dash through bursts of bright color. Join us on August 6 at the Orono Midd
 le School\, with check-in starting at 5:30 PM and the run kicking off at 6 
 PM. All pre-registered participants will receive a swag bag including an of
 ficial event t-shirt! After the dash\, stick around to enjoy music from DJ 
 Edd\, food\, and sweet treats. Whether you're racing to the finish line or 
 just in it for the fun\, this event is perfect for all ages. Sign up today 
 and get ready to dash in color!\n \n- Early registration price: $25/person\
 n\n- Registration price after June 1: $30/person\n\n \nTo guarantee a swag 
 bag including a t-shirt for the dash\, please register online prior to Wedn
 esday\, July 22. \n\nAdditional Items:\n \n- Check-in will take place outsi
 de near the soccer fields at Orono Middle School on August 6th. (Early chec
 k-in will be available on Wednesday\, August 5th from 1 - 3PM in the Commun
 ity Ed office located at the Education Link). \n\n - Please add t-shirt siz
 e during registration. \n \n- All families must have at least one adult (18
 +) in attendance. This is a family event\, please do not drop off unattende
 d children. \n\n \n- Please note\, this event will take place on a grass fi
 eld NOT on a paved surface.\n\n \n- Participants will be covered in colored
  powder during this event. All powder used is environmentally friendly. We 
 recommend keeping towels in your vehicle for after the event to help with c
 lean up. \n\n \n- Scholarships may be available upon request. For more info

 nThe color dash draws inspiration from traditional color festivals like the
  Indian Holi festival\, which celebrates the arrival of spring. In Holi\, p
 eople throw colored powder at each other as a symbol of happiness and unity
 . The color dash adopts this same spirit of fun\, celebration\, and togethe
 rness\, making it a perfect fit for a family-friendly event.
