3D Printing: Pokémon-InspiredTechnology & EngineeringBecome a Pokémon master of 3D design by creating your very own Pokémon characters with Tinkercad. Explore CAD modeling, experiment with shapes and features, and bring your digital creatures to life with 3D printers. Experiment with Sim Lab and design Pokémon-themed video games, combining creativity with hands-on technology. The camp will include an introduction to theater games and activities, popular musical theater songs and short scenes. ACT College Examination Preparatory CourseCollege PlanningAdvantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in two different ways: in-person or online. Both courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT exam score, as well as those who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills, or those who have taken the exam and aren’t satisfied with their results. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, math strategies, and review. Please bring notebook paper, pencils, calculator and a small 3-ring binder or folder to class. Students enrolled in these classes not only benefit from personal instruction provided by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to our online course. The live virtual ACT prep course is the same as the in-person ACT course, but from the comfort of your own home. Our instructors teach live via Zoom and are available to answer questions if needed. Our Baby & Me ECFE class is for babies and their caregivers to connect, play, and learn together. Each week, you and your baby will enjoy songs, simple play activities, and opportunities to explore together. Caregivers will also have time to connect with other parents and talk about the joys and challenges of life with a baby. A parent educator guides conversations and shares research-based insights on topics like development, sleep, feeding, and building strong relationships with your baby and the community. While our child educator leads circle time, with music and connections with your child. The class runs all year, but we invite you to sign up for this Baby & Me class at any time!
