This class fulfills the 30 hours of classroom driver’s training required by the State of Minnesota. Class will be taught in-person. After completing this course, students must sign up with a commercial driving school and receive an e-blue card, which they will need before taking their permit test. After passing the permit test, they must take 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction at a cost of approximately $398. Missed classes must be made up in another session. Add something delightfully spooky to your fall décor with this beginner-friendly glass fusing workshop! You'll learn essential glass cutting and shaping skills while creating your choice of a festive Mummy or Frankenstein dish. No prior experience is required. Please note there is a $20 supply fee payable to the instructors at the start of class, and due to the kiln firing cycles, finished projects will be ready for pickup on Wednesday, Sept. 30, between 7:00 and 8:30 PM.

Embellish your tree, gifts, or home with holiday-themed fused glass! Choose from a variety of simple ornament styles (snowmen, trees, snowflakes) to create holiday decor. A $20 material fee, which covers glass and firing for four ornaments, is payable the night of class to the instructors. Each additional ornament will be $5. Please note: Due to the kiln-firing process, your finished ornaments will be ready for pickup the following Wednesday.

Fused Glass Open Studio provides time and space to create fused glass projects for intermediate and advanced participants. A facilitator will be on hand for advice and support. Participants are asked to bring their own glass (COE90-preferred). Tools and molds are available to use. It is recommended that participants have taken at least 1-2 fused glass classes before joining Open Studio. A $25 material fee is payable to the instructors at the start of class. Punch cards have 8 punches and are valid for 12 months.

Even with the best of intentions, most people struggle to find the right words or deeds to support those they're close to who are grieving a loss. Feeling uncomfortable, or fearing they'll make the person feel worse, they simply do nothing - which adds a sense of abandonment to the grief and leaves the griever struggling even more. This workshop will help people be more comfortable and better able to support the grievers they care about. It is intended for friends, family, or community members who want to learn how to support children, young adults, or adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. This workshop will: Provide an understanding of what grief is and how it manifests. Introduce meaningful steps for supporting someone who is grieving. Inform as to what to say and what to avoid, and suggest actions that are truly helpful. Children ages 14 - 18 years old may register with an adult registration. A Zoom link will be sent prior to the class date.

Class includes a 45 minute instructor-led gentle flow yoga session starting at 10 am. You will be joined by several goats, including adorable baby goats!
