Basic computer skills are required. This critical, self-defense class delivers powerful information on risk recognition by covering the relevant "who, what, when, where" to help you avoid dangerous scenarios, teaches you the most effective prevention tools to stop danger before it starts, and provides you with the wisest actions and escape tactics to take if danger becomes apparent. OAC Cribbage TournamentCommunity EventsThe Orono Activities Center (OAC) invites you to its fourth OAC Cribbage Tournament on Sunday, March 15th, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM for a fun, family-friendly event inspired by long-time OAC member, Lou Hokanson. All ages and experience levels are welcome! Since St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, feel free to wear your green and bring a little Leprechaun's luck as you compete in this event! Register as a single player for the pool-play tournament format. The winner of each pool advances to the championship bracket. All games follow Bicycle rules to 121 points, are limited to 30 minutes, and players are encouraged to bring their favorite cribbage board to share. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, and snacks and refreshments will be provided. The fee is $10 for OAC members and $15 for non-members, and registration closes on March 14th at 11:59 PM.Winter/Spring 2026 -

This is a “non-coached” league where all teams play in grade level divisions regardless of skill level or roster makeup. Grade divisions may be combined based on enrollments. We recommend that players have some previous volleyball experience. Teams play at least one match each night and an end-of-league tournament. Teams can have more than 4 players, but only 4 players can be on the court at one time. If you have multiple grade level players on your team, you must register for the grade of your oldest player. Orono Volleyball staff and players will referee. We welcome athletes from other schools to form a team and join this league!
