Bicycle Repair & Maintenance
Join us as we focus on identification of bicycle parts, trailside repair, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, chain maintenance, how to repair/replace a tube (flat tire), and how to safety check your bike. If time allows, we will also learn basic wheel truing, replacing a chain, how to replace brake and shifting cables. Please bring a bike. -

Join Chef Noah for a hands-on class where you'll uncover the secrets to making Iron Exchange's infamous Detroit-style pizza! Fitness Punch Card
Purchase a Fitness Punch Card and drop into any adult fitness class on your time and your schedule. This is the perfect option if you cannot commit to a full class or want to try multiple different types of classes. Punch cards are valid for 6 months. Purchase another card if you run out of punches! Punch cards are kept in the Activities Center Fitness Room (30 & 31). The punch card is NOT VALID for pickleball classes, aquatics programs, virtual classes, private lessons or open gyms. Senior and Activities Center Membership discounts can not be applied toward a Punch Card purchase. Please contact our office at 952-449-8350 to confirm that a class has enough enrollments to run before dropping in for the first time. -
Fused Glass Open Studio
Fused Glass Open Studio provides time and space to create fused glass projects for beginner and advanced participants. A facilitator will be on hand for advice and support. A $25 material fee will be collected at the studio for each new punch card. Participants are asked to bring their own glass (COE90-preferred), cutting tools and molds (sharing of materials is also an option). It is recommended that participants have taken at least one fused glass class before joining Open Studio. Punch cards have 8 punches and are valid for 12 months. -
Instant Pot Chicken Burrito Bowls - Virtual Class
Join us this summer for a fast, fresh, and flavorful home cook-along! You’ll learn to create crowd-pleasing chicken burrito bowls while also learning handy tips and tricks for your Instant Pot (or other electric multi-cooker). Intro to Trout Fishing - Live on the Stream
This 5-hour, in-person class is your fast track to becoming a confident fly angler. Join Master Guide, Scott in western Wisconsin as you learn the essentials of fly fishing. The first hour will cover: gear, rigging, knots, and the best flies for our local waters. Then, you'll hit the dry ground for a focused fly casting lesson. Finally, you'll suit up in waders and boots to fish for wild trout on one of Western Wisconsin's rivers, the Kinnickinnic or the Rush. All necessary fishing gear (rods, reels, flies, waders, boots, etc.) is provided. Participants are required to bring a one-day, Wisconsin fishing license with an inland trout stamp. The instructor will share the specific class location the week of class for optimal fishing conditions. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind class opportunity! -

Paint Your Cabin
Escape to your favorite place with paintbrush in hand! Join artist Kevin for a unique two-hour painting class where you’ll create a custom landscape of your cabin, lake house, farm, or home. Before the class, simply submit a photo of your special retreat, and Kevin will personally sketch the image onto a canvas board, ensuring you’re ready to start painting right away. No experience necessary! In this hands-on session, Kevin will guide you step-by-step through color application and painting techniques to bring your scene to life. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of art that captures the essence of your favorite place. All supplies included. Paint Your Pet
Paint a portrait of your furry, scaly, or feathered friend! Emily will prepare a sketch of your pet in advance and will guide you step-by-step through the painting process. Simply email a photo of your pet at least one week ahead of time. You'll go home with your completed masterpiece at the end of the night. No experience is needed. Fun for all skill levels! Pickleball Advanced Play
If you’re looking for a higher level of pickleball competition, this class is for you! There will be minimal drills in this program with some focus on the 3rd shot drop and the advantages of stacking. The majority of the time will be used for competitive play. An instructor will be present for court rotations, filling in for match play, and answering questions. This group is more competitive, but still fun! This program will accommodate skill ratings of 4.0 and higher. Please visit usapickleball.org to best match a skill rating to your level of play. Please register online to reserve a spot for each month. You may register for multiple months at one time. Drop ins may be available if the space allows. Drop in rate is $10/night. *Orono Activities Center membership discounts do not apply for this program. -
Pickleball Skills & Drills - Beginner
Learn all about equipment, court, scoring, and rules of pickleball. Pickleball is a combination of ping-pong, badminton, and tennis, yet is much easier to learn. This class is based on practicing the essential elements of the game such as: serve, return, forehand and backhand, dink shot, and the importance of court positioning and shot selection. -
Pickleball Skills & Drills - Intermediate
If you are enjoying the friendly competition of pickleball, and are ready to kick it up a notch, this class is for you! Each session will open with a warm-up, a description of the “shot of the day,” and then a series of drills to practice that shot. Then, we will practice our new and improved shot in live play! -
Stained Glass Open Studio
Stained Glass Open Studio provides time and space to work on your projects whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced worker. A facilitator is available for advice and support. Purchase an 8-session punch card and receive an area to store supplies, tools and your projects. Punch cards are valid for 12 months. Students can group order glass and supplies to save time and money. Park in the back, north side of the building and enter through Door 5. -
Taking the "Doh!" Out of Sourdough
Have you always wanted to try making sourdough but felt overwhelmed? This fun, hands-on workshop takes the mystery out of the sourdough process and shows you how to bake amazing bread with a simple, real-life method. Mix your own dough, learn how to care for a starter, and go home with: one loaf of dough to bake the next day, your own starter, and clear, step-by-step instructions to keep baking at home. What to bring: Large mixing bowl Tea towel/kitchen towel Spatula or dough scraper Kitchen scale (if you have one) Note: For best results, sourdough is typically baked in a Dutch oven. The instructor will share alternative baking options during the workshop, but if you’ve been thinking about getting (or borrowing) one, now’s a great time! A minimum 4–5 qt size is ideal. Children ages 14 years or older may enroll with an enrolled adult. -

Energize yourself with these outdoor workouts that blend cardio, strength, and stretching. We utilize the bleachers, track, and field for bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, and lunges. Join us once or twice a week for 8 weeks and you will burn calories, boost your mood and reduce stress. Prioritize your health and meet us on the track. All fitness levels are welcome.
