ACT College Examination Preparatory CourseCollege PlanningAdvantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in two different ways: in-person or online. Both courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT exam score, as well as those who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills, or those who have taken the exam and aren’t satisfied with their results. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, math strategies, and review. Please bring notebook paper, pencils, calculator and a small 3-ring binder or folder to class. Students enrolled in these classes not only benefit from personal instruction provided by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to our online course. Our Baby & Me ECFE class is for babies and their caregivers to connect, play, and learn together. Each week, you and your baby will enjoy songs, simple play activities, and opportunities to explore together. Caregivers will also have time to connect with other parents and talk about the joys and challenges of life with a baby. A parent educator guides conversations and shares research-based insights on topics like development, sleep, feeding, and building strong relationships with your baby and the community. While our child educator leads circle time, with music and connections with your child. The class runs all year, but we invite you to sign up for this Baby & Me class at any time! WaitlistBeginner Stained Glass WindowCreative ArtsCreate a beautiful stained glass window approximately 8” x 10” in size. This class is for both beginner and experienced stained glass participants! The copper foil technique will be taught from cutting to assembly. The first night, you'll choose a pattern and discuss colors of glass, equipment, and layout. The other sessions will focus on assembling your stained glass window. Glass and materials are purchased directly from the instructor at class - approximately $65. Tool kits are provided. Please bring safety glasses to use while cutting and grinding glass. This class includes one free Saturday morning Open Studio visit. Beyond the "Doh!" Next Level LoavesCookingReady to take your sourdough beyond the basic loaf? Designed for those who already know the fundamentals, this workshop builds on the basics to make baking more flexible, creative, and fun. You’ll learn about flavor inclusions, dough lamination, advanced shaping, troubleshooting, and clever ways to use discard, all with an emphasis on real-life baking rather than perfection. Enjoy live demos and plenty of samples so you can leave ready to confidently experiment at home. (Prerequisite: Taking the "Doh!" out of Sourdough or comfort baking a basic loaf). What to bring: Large mixing bowl Tea towel/kitchen towel Spatula Kitchen scale (if you have one) Note: For best results, sourdough is typically baked in a Dutch oven. The instructor will share alternative baking options during the workshop, but if you’ve been thinking about getting (or borrowing) one, now’s a great time! A minimum 4–5 qt size is ideal. CALM Conversations: Conversations on Access to Lethal MeansParenting & FamilyThe CALM Conversations workshop is designed to provide friends, family, and others with information on how to recognize and respond to suicide risk, with an additional focus on increasing lethal means safety – especially concerning firearms. Participants learn how to talk with someone who might be having these thoughts in a collaborative, non-judgmental, and supportive manner. CALM Conversations is divided into four sections. Section 1: Learn basic facts and misconceptions about suicide, common risk factors and warning signs, and the importance of means safety in keeping at-risk individuals safe.Section 2: Learn to ask about mood and suicide, with opportunities to practice asking questions in their own words.Section 3: Focuses on connecting at-risk individuals to both formal and informal sources of support.Section 4: Focuses on discussing lethal means safety in a way that respects the at-risk individual’s rights and autonomy. The goal is making the environment safer for the at-risk individual until their mood state improves.Fall 2026

CPR, First Aid & AEDHealth & WellnessThis blended learning (online learning and in-person skills) session will help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. Successful participants will receive a two-year Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric (infant and child) CPR, First Aid and AED. Register at least 10 days prior to the in-person skills date, as time is needed to complete the online learning portion PRIOR to testing in person for the skills. This will allow you the time to complete lessons at your own pace. You will need to provide the instructor with proof of online completion in order to take part in the skills testing. Additional details regarding online learning session will be sent via email. A personal email address is required to receive class content.
