Separating Classes – Parents/Caregivers spend part of the class interacting with their children and then go to a separate classroom for the parent discussion. Children should be age 1 as of September 1st, 2026 to best fit in this class. ECFE is a statewide program in Minnesota that gives children and families the tools they need to thrive. Designed for any parent or caregiver with a child from birth to Kindergarten, our classes help with the things that matter most: 1. Individual attention time with parents or caregivers and their children to strengthen bonds. 2. Playful learning time to help children with their next phase while minimizing separation anxiety. 3. Parenting discussion time for parents and caregivers to talk about their parenting dreams, desires and concerns. From sound hunts for hidden letters to using magic wands to track enchanted stories, students will complete mystical quests and discover that reading and writing are the most powerful charms of all!

Create your own fantasy or sci-fi world complete with an invented language! Students will study how authors build immersive fictional worlds and how languages work, then design your own maps, vocabularies, cultures, and creatures. Through language study and creative writing, students will strengthen grammar skills while producing a worldbuilding guidebook and short story set in their original realm.

Step into the summer’s busiest mailroom! You will master letter writing and addressing envelopes using personal mailboxes and your own official stamps. Each day, a mystery letter arrives from a fictional character to answer! By crafting postcards and invitations, you'll discover that writing is a magical way to connect with the world.
